Dear Host Family,
My name is ---, I’m from Germany and I want to be your AuPair!
I’m 20 years old and I live in --that’s a city near the big city--- which you maybe know from the German map.I passed my exam called Abitur(A Levels) and now I’m finish with my school and I decided to be an AuPair in America.
I live with my mum , my older sister , my dog---and my two cats --- and --in a small house. My parents are divorced but that’s no problem! My dad lives in the same city like me , we have regularly contact and a really good relation.
My mum works as a nurse , my sister at a banking house and my dad works at the finance office. They all
My Friends are really important for me and I love to dare something with my friends.They’re all good souls and always there for me, that’s what I forecast on them.
They assist myself and my dream to be an AuPair in America.
I’ve got a lot of different hobbies , for example swimming, practice languages (Spanish) , I love reading, cooking and baking and dare something with my friends like to go to the cinema or shopping how every young girl likes to do
I have my drivers license since 3 ½ years and I drive nearly every day especially to school.
I drive very carefully and never had an accident before.
I have always been very careful at driving because I know which consequences careless driving can have.
I also passed a first aid course.
I’m working with children since four years and I enjoy every day with them.
I work in something like a “playschool“ , it’s in a big furniture mall . The parents can leave their
kids there and they can go shopping or drinking coffee or something. During this time , me and my colleagues at work are looking after the kids during they play . We also help
them with diffenet things for example:
Helping them go on toilet , comfort them when they miss their mum or hurt themselves, vet some little aches and pains sometimes or we just play with them.
In special afternoons we give them an ace to eat or we tinkle with them different things for example for christmas, eastern in autum or just a funny royal crown .And we have always to look that the area where the kids stay is clean.
In all this years I’ve learned that there are different kinds of children and you have to treat every child in a different way , but every time in the right acceptably way .
I also have two little cousins they ’re called ---- and ------ and live in the same city like me. My both cuties are like two little brothers for me I frequently look after them when my aunt and uncle want have some time for themselves or for going out .I fetch them to take a walk with them , go on the playing area , playing with them , making them the dinner , bring them to bed or read a book to them.
I think as an good children adviser I should adapt myself to every child.because every child is different.
Please don’t think that I mean to be heavy-handed or to be rough to children! I know that look after children isn’t always a job where you have a lot of fun (but the most time
)it could also be a very hard and stressful job and it’s not always easy to handle children.
After I passed my AuPair year I want to become a primary teacher and want to study the subjects englisch , biology and maybe also German .
Why I want to be an AuPair?
Firstly I love children . Yes I know it sounds stereotype but it’s the truth .
I like to do childish activities with them ,to footle with them ,to see them smile, to talk with them, to tinker and play with them and the contact with kids .It’s so fascinating to see them grow up and I would like to see how your children grow up. Children can give you so much in return as well it’s just a little smile.
Secondly I also must convince you , the responsibility is a very important point. I know you give me you’re children and you have to trust in me .That’s an challenging mission for me but I think I’ll do a great job.
Why I want to be an AuPair in the USA?
I want to learn everything about the American culture! I could have the chance
to witness various American holidays and I could have the chance to be a real part of an American family ,life their everyday life and it’s more than just 2 weeks like on holiday. . This would be such a great experience for me and I hope to get the great American attitude to life
.I also want to improve my English skills especially for my study. Moreover English ist the world language and nearly everyone is able to talk English therefore it’s important to speak a good English.
Why you should take me?
As your AuPair I would give 100% for you’re children. I would enjoy to be with your children and to look after them including all activities with them .
My behavior toward children is always friendly, heartily,warm,oriented ,respectful ,responsible , patient, creative ,jokey, particular and faithful.
I always had a good relation to children.
Being an AuPair would be a challenge at which I would invest all my readiness and feel happy..I would be present with all my heart at this important duty .
And now I come to the part where I should describe myself… and that’s always a really difficult task.
I’m a open minded , honest,tolerant, respectful, communicative,friendly and humorous person. I really like to laugh and I often laugh. I’m not a child of unhappiness and I don’t sit in the corner and be quite or something. You should make the best of every situation also if the situation is very complicated !
I also haven’t a problem with waking up early in the morning and also with stressful situations ,I learn to handle stressful situations ( school , exams, working every weekend and vacations) .
To conclude I hope my English isn’t to bad and I hope you understand everything I want to say
