A summary

The newspaper "Head bans hugs and handshakes" released by "Guardian Newspaper at 19.06.2011 and written
by Simon Tisdall in Washington deals with a school wich doesn't allow touching between pupils.

In the Kilmer Middle school in Vienna Virginia the headteacher Mrs Hernandez forbid every physical contact between the pupils.
Handshakes, strokes or anything other touchs aren't allowed. The 13 years old pupil Hal Beaulie visit this school.
He is impeach because he layed his arm on his girlfriend while the break.
He accept his reproof but he and his parents aren't aware any blame. Hal's parents written to the "Fairfax Land School Board".
But it leave the headteacher cold. Teacher could act how they want to. Beside the rules are importent to keep the order.

In my opinion the headteacher is false. Handshakes are a sign of respect.
Again I think that physical contact affect positiv and harmonic to the children.
This requirements mustn't exist and rather in a so civilized country like america.
The headteacher should be replaced immediately. Alike they should countermand the reproof. The arguments from the headteacher makes no scence in my point of view.
I think no physical contact isn't sensible.
