Da ich mich aber in der englichen Sprache nicht so sehr wohl fühle und ich etwas unsicher bin, wollte ich euch fragen bzw. bitten, den Text durch zulesen und eventuelle Fehler zu berichitgen. Das wäre wirkllich klasse.
In 1869 MohandasG. was born in Porbandar. People gave him the name 'Mahatmar', or 'Great Soul'. Mahatma G. was a rebel who fought for freedom. He is considered the father of the Indian independence movement. In the second half of the 1880s, Mahatmar went to London where he studied law. In 1893, at the age of 23, G. left his family behind again and went to South Africa. There G. saw a lot of discrimination. Because this G. working to fight discrimination. In 1894 he founded the Natal Indian Congress. In South Africa he worked to improve living conditions for the Indian minority and he created his concept for a non-violent way of protesting against injustices. Mahatmar was imprisoned several times.
In 1947 India is independence.
In 1948 G. was shot dead by the age of 79 from a radical Hindu.
