könnte mir jemand von euch den Gefallen machen und sich mal diesen Brief ansehen

Dear Charlie,
I have heard that you plan to travel to Great Britain. If you will be there you should absolutely visit London, the capital city of this country, because there are a lot of beautiful sights. It is impossible to say which places are most interesting because all of them have a fascinating historical background. But I think the most beautiful and interesting sights in this city are the "Tower Bridge", the Tower of London, the Westminster Abbey, the Buckingham Palace and don´t forget to visit the old part of London. I for one thought it very fascinating. I think the whole city is very beautiful and interesting because you also meet a lot of people from different countries (especially from India) who talk together in various languages. Take only care with the british food because it is very different to our meals and for that sometimes it could be very unusually. And please write me also a postcard. I think you know that I like it to collect postcards of different places in the world.

Mmh.. und wieso ist britisches Essen anders und deswegen ungewoehnlich?

Naja, ich persönlich finde, das englische Essen schon ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig (z.B.: die Erdnussbutter, oder die baked beans).
Es schmeckt halt jedem etwas Anderes

Erdnussbutter ist amerikanisch und baked beans kommen urspruenglich aus Frankreich und sind so englisch wie Sauerkraut deutsch ist .

Komisch, haben früher in der Schule nämlich mal ein englisches Frühstück gemacht und dabei hat es Erdnussbutter und baked beans gegeben, da hat sich wohl jemand bei der Auswahl am Essen geirrt Entschuldige, dass ich so schlecht vom englischen Essen geschrieben habe

Ja geben tut es das schon, aber geben tut es Erdnussbutter und Baked Beans auch in Deutschland . Das ist so mit den Urspruengen von manchen Dingen, sie verschwimmen.

Richtig gute Erdnussbutter gibt es in Deutschland aber leider nicht

Das habe ich schon von meinem Bruder gehoert, der bekommt immer "Care" Pakete und unter anderem ist da auch Erdnussbutter aus UK drin . Soll ich dir auch mal ein Glas schicken ?

How can you help those who are scared of boarding a plane.

The people should think about the fact that flying is the safest way to travel and there are also good possibilities to be relaxed during your fly. For example reading a book, listening to music or watching a film if you have the opportunity for this activity on the plane.

Is homesickness something that you can get rid of? If yes, how?
In my case it is always very difficult for me to be not homesick because my dog has to stay forever at home with a family member or a trustful person because my dog is not able to drive with a car and to fly with the plane is in every case unpleasant for the pets and besides it is also a very expensive and stressful way to travel with the pet.

What sort of adventure do you personally need to add a certain kick or some change to your life or to make the treadmill of everyday life more bearable?

I think the best way to make the treadmill of everyday life more bearable is to make an holiday every year. I think that´s a good thing because you change your surrounding for a while. A other way to forget for a time your everyday life is doing extreme sports like bungee jumping, ice diving, white water rafting, skysurfing or other sports of this type. I for one don´t like such activities because I think that they are very dangerous.
