Hi,

to my greatest surprise I found the following sentence in a book I read: "Careful! Aren't I always careful?"
I never heard this before. So is it true that we can either say "Am I not always careful?" or "Aren't I always careful?" and therefore "Are I not always careful?". The last one sounds a little bit stupid, doesn't it?
