- Working in my garden Assuming that there is more than we know about, we might as well believe in live after live. I don’t consider myself as a strong believer in that approach, but at times I think I have been a tomato plant in my former live. I just love to grow tomatoes and can’t have enough of them in my garden. Right now I have only seventeen and it seems as if they don’t get enough sun, because they don’t have a lot of tomatoes on them. The garden itself is very beautiful but has a big tree in the middle which is throwing a lot of shade. Tomatoes are quite work intensive, first of all they need enough water, there is a saying: ‘Tomatoes love to have wet feet and a dry head.’ The soil regular has to be loosened with a hoe and their branches have to be carefully tied to a strong supporting stick. Last but not least they like it when you talk to them, especially when you tell them how beautiful they are. I think I have to tell my tomatoes how much I appreciate their effort to grow under such shady conditions, it might help...who knows.

Re: Working in my garden
1. Working in my gardengives me the feeling that there arethings between heaven and earth that cannot be explained. That’s why I also believe in an afterlife. I don’t consider myself as a strong believer in that approach, but at times I think I must have been a tomato plant in my former life. I just love to grow tomatoes and can’t have enough of them in my garden. Right now I have only seventeen and it seems as if they don’t get enough sun because they don’t have a lot of tomatoes on them (Der erste Teil des Satzes sagt schon aus, dass es nicht viele sind). The garden itself is very beautiful but has a big tree in the middle which is throwing a lot of shade. Tomatoes are quite labour-intensive, first of all they need enough water, there is a saying: ‘Tomatoes love to have wet feet and a dry head.’ The soil regular has to be broken up regularly with a hoe and their branches have to be carefully tied to a strong supporting stick. Last but not least they like it when you talk to them, especially when you tell them how beautiful they are. I think I have to tell my tomatoes how much I appreciate their effort to grow under such shady conditions; it might help...who knows.
