At (or on?) the playground
George, my five year old nephew loves to use all the equipment at the playground. He likes to slide down the slide, but makes sure to hold on to the railing to prevent himself from getting too fast. In order to use the monkey bar, he requires some help from me, by lifting him up, while he places one hand after the other on to the bars. He is able to jump from one play-stone to the next, landing on two feet, by swinging his arms. (Schwung holen). He can hop forward on one foot seven times. George likes to play by himself and does not show interest in playing with other children. My sister is concerned about his social withdrawing behavior and wants to see a neurologist to get clarification if her son might be autistic.
