Hello all again!
Could you take a look at these sentences, please?
"It is ages since I have heard from you! Have you already used to the warm italian weather or you are still missing the rain?
Since the beginning of June I've been doing my internship at k in L. I’m not happy with it, because I don’t do anything according my qualification, but I’m very happy with my host family. I’m staying with a lovely L. family that has six children! As I’m the only child, it’s a great experience for me to live in such a big family. Next week I’m going to the L. wedding and I’m looking forward to it.
Where do you live in Italy? I have been learning Italian for one year and I would like to do my next internship there. My vocational school has a partner in F. Have you ever been there? It must be a very beautiful city.
I saw your favorite movie “...” last month and I really enjoyed it!!! I heard about a sequel of this movie and would like to see it as well."
Thank you!
With best wishes,
Chloe

I guess, you grew up in Forks and like it there for a reason.
So you are probably a vampire or maybe something else...

Re: Could you correct some sentences, please?
No, I'm not
I just have a friend, who moved to the south and I'm curious whether he feels well there. To be honest I have never heard about Forks, but I'm reading about the city right now.
Delfino, I saw the sentence "It is ages since I have heard from you" in my textbook. Is it possible that both varieties are correct?

Re: Could you correct some sentences, please?
Yes, regional differences (AE / BE ...) are a possible reason too.Chloe hat geschrieben:Delfino, I saw the sentence "It is ages since I have heard from you" in my textbook.

You can google both sentences and you will find quite a number of hits.
My phrase creates nearly ten times as many hits as yours.
This could hint towards the use in AE.
