describe your favourite vacation Thailand

Hallo alle zusammen,
Ich habe bald auch noch mündliche Prüfungen und muss in Englisch mehrere Sachen machen dazu gehört auch mein Lieblings Urlaubsziel.

Damit ich es später besser mündlich sagen kann, versuch ich es erstmal schriftlich auf die Reihe zukriegen.

I want to talk about my favourite vacation.


I flew with my Brother and a friend to Thailand, last Year. This holiday was so exciting and funny and this because I want to fly again Thailand. Thailand is a really nice country with friendly peoble and much culture.
Thailand is located in Asia below China. The flight takes about 12 hours and costs about 500 or 1000 Euros. The weather in Thailand is always hot and wet , for this reason there are growing rainforests. The most peoble in Thailand are very poor, but however they are happy. The capital city is Bangkok and it is located in the central of country. Thailands south coast is famous for the beautiful beaches and the wonderful landscape. The most foumous location in thailand is phuket and it is also the biggest Island from Thailand. In Phuket are very much bars and resturants. The sand is white and the water is clear. On the other side there are many tourists and the streets are very polluted. But Phuket is a alive location and you can have a lot of fun, there. Another nice location is Krabi. Krabi is lesser famous than Phuket but it is also known.
The Film "The Beach" is produced on Phi Phi Island a little island in near of Krabi. The most peoble say this is the nicest place of the world. Krabi is the opposite from Phuket. Krabi is very calm and have lesser nightlife than Phuket. But Krabi have one of the best diver places in Asia.
In my opinion Krabi is better to discover Thailand at daytime but if you want to expierence nightlife you should go to Phuket.
Krabi is the nicest place in Thailand to go swim, or to drive Kajak, or to ride a elephant.
Anyway I love they both.


A Holiday in Thailand is a good diffrent experience. One day I will fly again to Thailand.

Hi vato, na dann mal los!

I would like to tell you about my favourite holiday destination. ("vacation" ist natürlich völlig OK, aber in Verbindung mit "destination" hört es sich etwas blöd an). It is Thailand.

Last year, my brother, a friend and I flew to Thailand. This holiday was the best we ever had. It was so exciting and funny that I would really love to go there again. Thailand is a very nice country with friendly people. The Most of them are very poor, but they seem to be quite happy, nevertheless. And of course there is a lot of the most interesting culture to be seen in this country. (Ich habe die Reihenfolge etwas geändert, denn jetzt folgt die Beschreibung des Landes, da passt die Sache mit den Bewohnern nicht so gut zwischen)

Thailand is in Asia, to the south of China. The flight from Germany takes about 12 hours and costs between 500 and 1000 Euros. The capital city is Bangkok and it is located in the centre of the country. The climate in Thailand is hot and wet, and that's why one of its natural features is the rainforest.

Especially the south coast is famous for its beautiful beaches and the wonderful landscape. The most famous place is Phuket, Thailand's biggest island. The beaches are fantastic: the sand is white and the water is clear. So of course there are loads of tourists there and consequently the streets are dirty. In Phuket there are very also many bars and restaurants. It is a lively place and you can have a lot of fun there.
Another nice location is Krabi. Krabi is lesser famous than Phuket but it is also well-known.
The film "The Beach" was shot on Phi Phi Island, a little island in near of Krabi. Many people say this is the nicest place in the world. In many ways, Krabi is the exact opposite of Phuket. It is more quiet and peaceful and doesn't offer a glittering nightlife. But it has one of the best diving areas in Asia. And there are many interesting things you can do there like swimming, kayaking or riding an elephant.
In my opinion, Krabi is the better choice if you want to discover Thailand at daytime. But when it comes to experiencing an exciting nightlife, Phuket is the place to go.

Anyway, I love them both.

A holiday in Thailand certainly makes for a different experience. And one day I will go there again.

The main food in Thailand is fish or chicken with noodles or rice.
This food is very cheap and tasty, but if you want to eat an Hamburger or a Pizza you have to pay more than for a Thai food. The price for an whole Thai menu is about 1 Euro.
