chapter 1: Glitter and Dust
The three friends drove to the Glitter & Dust Festival, because they wanted to help Uncle Titus (that's Justus' uncle) to set up his stand and to unpaking his goods.
Because Uncle Titus is a dealer and sales on the G&D Festival.
When they arrived, they bought ice cream.
But suddenly someone pushed Justus aside. Justus stumpled, losed his balance and droped his ice cream.
Justus spoke angrily to the man, but he ignored him and only walked over to two other men.
The men looked quite normal, but they all had plastic clown masks over their faces.
They walked away without a word.
So the three investigators got a new ice cream and made thir way to Uncle Titus' junk store and helped him.
Later they heard that someone was at strife. They looked into the direction of the argument.
Surprishingly they saw the four clowns....they attaked a Mexican trader.
On of the clowns flinged the Mexican over the railing.
The man falled down with a cry and disappeared in the water.
chapter 2: The hero of Carino Beach
The four clowns whid had flinged the mexican over the railing dasappeared.
Peter went quickly to the ocean, where he had seen the Mexican the last time.
He looked arround and then he saw the young trader on the beach.
He was wet. Because of the water, but because of blood too.
When Peter went to him, for helping him, the man asked whether Peter was sent from Jeff. But Peter answered that nobody had sent him and that he only wanted to help him, he also said that his name was Peter Shaw.
The trader said that he was called Jose Santanda and then arrived a boat.
All at once Jose murmured, that someone wanted to know where the black statue of the Madonna is and that Peter should not tell them where she is.
Peter was surprised because he didn't knew any black Madonna and so he asked, what statue he ment and were she was.
Jose said that she was in his flat under his bed, Forty six laguna street. Then he said,"bring her to..." but in this moment befor he brought an ento to his sentence he passed out.
The men from the boat brought him to an hospital and Peter waited at the beachfor his friends.
But someone else arrived. It was a reporter. He asked Peter where he lived and what his name was. But abruptly Justus arrived. He had noticed that the reporter wasn't a real reporter and so Justus said to the reporter that he was not free to ask Peter any question more. The fake reporter threated them because he wanted to interview Peter.
Later Peter, Bob and Justus drove to the flat of Jose, due to the fact that it has sounded as it was very importend for Jose that the statue was brought to this place or this person he wanted to say. (wherever or whoever that was)
The front door of Jose's house was closed, so they opened it with a skeleton key and went inside.
On the second door was a name badge: "J. Santanda"
This time they did not need the skeleton key because the door was open. Went inside and stoped dead.
chapter 3: burglary with consequences
Everything in Jose's appartment was ransacked.
The investigators supposed that they were alone, because the they thought that they clowns have been in the flat befor them.
But then the clowns run over them like a lightning.
Quickly they followed them, but it was too late.
Justus thought that the Madonna was gone with the clowns but Peter and Bob thought that the statue was still in the flat because they did not saw that on of the clowns had transported her outside.
So they looked in the flat for the Madonna, but they did not found.
Then they noticed that the neighbour already had called the police.
At home Bob has recherched about the black Madonna. He had found many pics of black Madonnas all over the world, but the Madonna which was stolen in the museum seven years ago wasn't black.
On the next day the three friends went to the Festival for asking everybody about the clowns. Everyone had seen them but nobody had noticed anything except the masks.
Later they went to the office of Inspector Cotta, because he wanted to meet them.
When they arrived Mr. Cotta gave them the actuel newspaper and they read the article which was marked : "Ivestor trio gone astray, after lifesaving they break in."
The author of the article made the assumpiton that Peter hat stolen Jose's door key when Jose was still "fighting for his life"
The article was written by someone called B.S.
After they had finished reading Mr. Cotta said : "Well?"
