mündlicher Praktikumsbericht

Beitrag von glani »

Hallo,

Now I’ll tell you something about the daily run.
For every teacher work starts at half past seven in the morning.
At quarter to eight the school buses arrive and the children get picked up by the teachers. In the morning circle (Morgenkreis / Begrüßungskreis) a welcoming song (wird gesungen)
And after that every day one of the kids have to read out the timetable by using the sign language.
At eight o’clock the instruction (Unterricht -> besser: lessons?) starts.
After the first subject (wird gefrühstückt) together. Then the instruction continues. There are many subjects you know of regular schools like mathematics, german, or social studies for example. But there are also therapy measures like ergo therapy, riding therapy and swimming.
During the breaks of 15 to 20 minutes between two subjects the kids can go to the playground or play games or draw in class.
At twelve o’clock is lunchtime. One of the kids in class is responsible for the lunch trolley (Essenswagen) and one other have to lay the table. A third child is takes the water.
First thing after lunch is oral hygiene. Then instruction continues again till two o’clock in the afternoon. Before (ehe) the students are placed by school bus home after the final group at quarter to two in the afternoon.
The only exception is the so-called "Long Monday" in which some children can participate voluntarily chosen yet another working group till half past four to relieve the working parents.
Furthermore, care is taken on the class rules. (“We do as good.”, “We don’t interrupt others.” or “We help each other”).
As part of the final group each class leads a rating system for the students.
In my class, the children receive a star for each subject in which they have worked well. Have at least three stars, they receive a sticker they put into an album. Collected at 15 stickers, they may choose a geegaw (eine Kleinigkeit) (a balloon for example) from a gift box.

Now I’ll tell you something about the daily run. Or: Now I would like to start my presentation with the daily routine of a school for disabled / handicapped children.
The teachers work starts work at half past seven in the morning.
At quarter to eight the school buses arrive and the children
are picked up by the teachers. The first morning lesson begins with singing a welcoming song in a circle. And after that every day one of the kids has to read out the timetable by means of sign language.
At eight o’clock the actual lessons starts / begin.
After the first subject they have breakfast together, and then go on with the lessons. There are many subjects you know from regular schools like mathematics, German, or social studies for example. But there are also therapy measures like ergo therapy, riding therapy and swimming.
During the breaks of 15 to 20 minutes between two subjects
/ lessons the kids can go to the playground or play games or draw in class.
At twelve o’clock is lunchtime. One of the kids in class is responsible for the
serving trolley and one other has to lay the table. A third child gets the water.
First thing after lunch is oral hygiene. Then
lessons are continued again till two o’clock in the afternoon. Before (ehe) The students are accompanied to the school bus home after the final group at quarter to two in the afternoon. Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe.
The only exception is the so-called "Long Monday"
on which some children can participate voluntarily chosen yet another working group till half past four to relieve the working parents.
Furthermore, care is taken on the class rules. (“
As we do as good”, Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe “We don’t interrupt others.” or “We help each other”).
