What the difference between 'will' and 'going to' ?

Beitrag von Annabellewisteria »

Hello everyone,

Could anyone please tell me the difference between 'will' and 'going to'?

For example:1. I will hold a big party.
2. I am going to hold a big party.

Annabelle

Hi Annabellewisteria, :prost:
I don't know if you have realised that there are a lot of excellent explanations of grammar on this website. Just click Home at the top of the page and then choose English version at the top of the next page. On the left side there is a list of the explanations for most of the common questions in alaphabetical order. But in case these should not be sufficient, feel free to ask here in the forum.

Check these links for example:

Cheers!
