Meine Frage wäre, ob "now anything required is" dem Deutschen "von nun an genügt ein" entspricht ?


Meine erdachte Alternative wäre "now anything left to do is". Ich tendiere ja eher zu dieser, da hier der Sinn besser zur Geltung kommt (von nun an gibt es nicht mehr viel zu tun).

Das finde ich ziemlich seltsam, mit "anything" kann ich mich nicht anfreunden. Ich würde das zum Beispiel so ausdrücken "From there, it takes only a single click to start the download of the update."

@Keswick: Dein Vorschlag gefällt mir gut. Ich habe es jetzt so geändert:

Warum wäre es unangebracht, hier "anything" zu verwenden ?

Ja, "anything" wäre ein ganz unpassendes Wort hier. Wenn schon, ginge nur "the only thing". Aber Keswicks Lösung ist viel besser weil kürzer und eleganter.
