The Internet is a discovery of the 90s years. This is a thing with a lot of advantages, but also with disadvantages, because young people spend more and more time only with their computers at home instead to go out and meet with friends.
But for all that has the Internet also a lot of advantages. For example the people can in this day and age do their shopping easily while they are sitting at home. In addition it was also possible to make a new way for education. Distance learning. I think that this education option wouldn´t exist without Internet. There are even forums where people can discuss about a lot of topics.
On the other hand is it really bad that people are evermore unsocial, if they only spend their whole time with surfing in the Internet. There are even enough people, which have problems to have contact with other persons. Moreover is it also very poor for the eyes, if they are looking always on the monitor.
To sum up there are both advantages and disadvantages with the Internet. I think there are a lot of advantages, but the people shouldn´t overact with the using of the Internet.
