If you could dream in English then you are perfect in speaking the language. I have read an English book and for me, okay I have understood the context but I haven't understood the meaning about what a lot of people have saied in the book. When I am writing a topic in this forum I will avoid to think in German and avoid to write in German.
I would be glad that I could think and dream in English, but till now it doesn't happen.

The guy is right, "uneigennuetzig" is one of the translations for disinterested. It always depends on the context you see. One word can have dozens of meanings depending on the context.

Ah no worries about not being able to dream in English. You will dream in English at one point and you won't even realise that you do . At the end of the day, everyone can dream in a foreign language but that does not necessarily mean that you speak the language if you know what I mean. Your dreams tend to make things up. Have you ever dreamed you were flying? I am sure you have, but can you fly in real life? I have dreamed before that I spoke Russian but I don't even speak Russian. It is the subconscious mind playing tricks on us. So do not worry about not dreaming in English.

I would say it is the other way around.
When you can speak another language fluently and without much effort
you are probably already able to think in that language
and from there it's only a small step towards dreaming.

"further" bedeutet "weiter" und hier steht es im Sinne von "weiterbringen", es bringt dich also sehr viel weiter. "to further" kann aber auch alleine als Verb stehen: "to further someone/something" = "jmd. foerdern/unterstuetzen"

For a country you'd use the word "neutral".
