Bitte um Korrektur und Meinung :D

Beitrag von ates »

Hallo liebe Community,

ich habe eine Hausaufgabe bekommen, die ich bis Mittwoch erledigen soll.

My task is to summarize an excerpt from a novel, and i need your opinion.

The excerpt from the novel " Lush Life" written by Richard Price is about two boys who are planning on to deal with drugs in order to earn money.

Tristan who is a Puerto Rican student meets a boy named Little Dap who is a drug dealer like is big famous brother Big Dap.
Little Dap wants to earn his money as fast as he can and that´s why he needs the help of Tristan. As a Puerto Rican he looks
like Dominicans who are able to buy cheaper drugs as other nationalities. Hence, they want to buy cheap drugs to sell
them at a high price in order to make as much profit as they can.

So how is my text? Did you understand my summary?

Tristan, who is a Puerto Rican student (oder einfach: "Tristan, a Puerto Rican student..."), meets a boy named Little Dap, who is a drug dealer like his famous big brother, Big Dap. Little Dap wants to earn his money as fast as he can (umgangssprachlicher: "wants to make a quick buck"), and that's why he needs Tristan's help. As a Puerto Rican, Tristan looks like a Dominicans, and Dominicans are able to buy cheaper drugs than other nationalities. In this way, they (oder: "the two") want to buy cheap drugs which they can then sell at a high price in order to make as much profit as they can.

I understood it very well!

"Thanks in advance" wäre ausreichend gewesen. :D
