Hallo ich habe ein Problem: Ich weiss oft nicht wofür das wort "for" steht!
3 Beispiele:
1. "For, believe me, if the fleece fair and the Kingsbridge market die, there will not be....
2. How long did you waiting for?
3. How long did you riding for?

1. "For, believe me, if the fleece fair and the Kingsbridge market die, there will not be.... In diesem Fall heisst "for" soviel wie "Im Falle von..".
2. How long did you waiting for? FALSCH: How long have you been waiting for?
3. How long did you riding for? FALSCH: How long have you been riding for? Wenn du nach einer Zeit fragst steht das "for" in Kombination mit dem Verb fuer "wie lange". Das Wort "for" hat so zahlreiche Bedeutungen, dass es schlichtweg unmoeglich ist dir hieb- und stichfest zu beantworten wofuer es steht. Sorry.
