The picture is an advertising for a beer from the north of Germany named Astra.
On the poster you can see two men, who are sitting on a table and drinking beer.
The glasses are very large and the logo of the beer is printing on.
One of the men is drinking and the other is whisking the bead of sweat from his head. At the top of the picture is a typical phrase written, which you can hear in a pub before you wanted to leave (“Einen trinken wir noch, dann gehen wir”).
Now I’d like to describe the advertising with the AIDA-concept.
The attention of the viewer is directed on the large glasses. The interest is drawing by a typical phrase who everybody knows and this is in connection with the size of the glasses very funny.
The situation of the two men appears very comfortable. That is the desire. Finally I’d like to describe the action: Through the likeable situation, the customer wishes to be there and do the same.
In my opinion it is a very successful and funny advertising. It is especially addressed to mens between 30 and 60 years, which are the target group. Unfortunately I have not see in real life.
