Hallo,
Mal einen Ansatz von mir: Thereby one question places to the front (an der Stelle hackts), which ways does we have to stop the greenhouse effect?

Composition about the subject ways to stop the greenhouse effect:
Nowadays we read nearly every day, in newspapers and magazines, new articles about the greenhouse effect. Everyone knows the consequences about a warmer earth. If we don’t stop the carbon dioxide emissions, we will be faced with massive problems, like starvation or flooding. Close to this problematic there is one question, what can we do against the greenhouse effect?
First of all, we should reduce the fossil power plants and replace them against wind, water or solar power. There are many advantages which speak for alternative energy sources. For example solar power uses the energy of the sun, it doesn’t produce carbon dioxide and his raw material (the sun) does not running out. So by using the sun for producing energy, we have an unlimited energy source! But there are also disadvantages, like the low degree of efficiency.
So the replacement of all fossil power plants only against alternative green energy is not a solution for the greenhouse effect. Because green energy can´t cover the huge amount of electricity we need, we should reduce the energy consumption of the whole world. Not by lower the society standard but by using products which need a less amount of energy. The problem is, that this products cost more and the invention is not cheap. One solution of that problematic is, if the government subsidized those products, they will be cheaper and customers would prefer to buy them.
Another point is that politician should spend more money in analysis to develop budding alternative energy sources, like fusion power. The advantages of this energy source are, against the green energy, the good degree of efficiency. In addition to that the costs are low and the energy source is nearly unlimited. By developing the fusion energy further we have the opportunity to make it commercial and find the first good replacement for atomic and fossil power plants.
But all this new technologies and inventions can´t provide us from on fact. Everyone can take care of energy waste. We can do our own part to reduce the carbon dioxide emission. For example by using public transport or taking a shower instead of having a bath even eating less ham would have an effect. There are many things we can do.
To sum up all these arguments we see there are many opportunities to reduce the carbon dioxide emission. Not only the politicians carry the responsibility to do something against the greenhouse effect, we do it as well. If we want a save and green world for our children, we should start by ourselves to do something against the global warming.

Hi Mexx,
