Motivationsschreiben - Hilfe!

Hi,
ich bräuchte dringend Hilfe bei einem Motivationsschreiben, dass ich auf Englisch verfassen muss. Dabei geht es um ein Englischsprachiges Seminar, für welches man sich in meinem Studiengang bewerben kann.
Das Motivationsschreiben ist schon fertig, aber ich denke es könnte noch die eine, oder andere Korrektur gebrauchen:

If I think about my prospective career after studies I see myself in an international job. Mostly because it is interesting for me to meet different cultures and work with people from all over the world to achieve improved results. I’m ****** and I learn English since the 4th grade. In the 9th grade I took part in a student exchange with Wisconsin in America. During this exchange I became acquainted with the American culture and my interest to foreign languages began to grow. I’m a musician and write songs in English since I’m about 12 years old. That is why I improve my English vocabulary almost daily. Because I cover songs and sing my own songs, I got a feeling for the right pronunciation of English words. This makes it easy for me to speak English.
The opportunity to do a semester and an internship abroad were two reasons, why I chose the TU Ilmenau. Even though I may improve my English during this time, I think the Career International is a great addition. If you want to learn a language perfectly, you need to speak it as often, as you can. That is why the English course of the TU Ilmenau alone is not satisfying my aims. Most scientific publications are written in English and you need a good English vocabulary to understand them. It is also important to write dissertations in English, so your work is recognized not only nationally, but scientist all over the world can understand what your dissertation is about. That is why I think it is important to use and speak English as often and intensive as I can during my study. To work and learn together with exchange students and to get to know their culture are also incitements for me to be part of the Career International.

With a good English vocabulary and practical experience I will have much more opportunities to take after my studies and a better chance to get an international orientated job. So my motivation to do the Career International course is very high - even though, or perhaps because I know it implies expenditure of work.
