The band name AC/DC (the english abbreviation for alternating current/direct current) were created following: The wife of George Young (he isn’t in the band) has seen the abbreviation on the backside of her sewing machine. She thought that this was a good name for the band.
The abbreviation should show the rough and powerful music of the band. In Australia the band is also known as “Acca Dacca”.

Angus Young
On his Performances he often wears school uniforms. Magret Young has got this idea. Angus has got many school uniforms in many different colours. All are custom-made.
Another special thing is that he sometimes plays the guitar lying on the ground. On an early concert he stumbled over a wire and plays lying on the ground. Sometimes he do that, too.
In the Past Angus wear a bag, in this bag there was one of the first Wireless-transmitter for an e-guitar, because it was so big.
