meine Freundin will sich für ein FSJ im Ausland bewerben und hat folgendes verfasst:
Wäre schön, wenn ihr ihn euch mal durchlesen könnt und Verbesserungsvorschläge abgeben könntet!Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is xyz. I am nineteen years old and I will get my higher education entrance qualification next year (May 2011). I am full of life and enjoy meeting friends. My favourite hobby is going climbing and hiking.
Since for years I take part at the school project „Pupils help pupils, in which I give tuition to younger pupils. There I have leaned to respond to children and to explain them difficult school stuff.
Moreover I was exercised as mediator since the seven grade of school. So I leaned to become accepted of my follow-men, to carter to problems and to find acceptable resolution for all involved parties.
Furthermore I work as babysitter since I am thirteen years old by neighbours and acquaintances.
After I conserve my higher education entrance qualification I want to get involved with social work before I start my study at the university. I like to gain new experiences for my further life and insights into different life situations of my fellow-men. Moreover I like to help and support people. Furthermore I hope that will further my personal development and become more independent by doing a voluntary gap year. I also want to learn an other foreign language.
How you see I especially have gained experiences in contact to children and youth, but not to elderly. However exactly these is the reason why I want to take part in the project, which works with older people. I think that I can learn important and interesting things of the people, who have much experience of life. Furthermore I want to show the elderly that they are a part of our community even if they aren‘t able to support the society.
I inform me about the project at the internet. So I see that the „Re Carto Alberto Refuge“ is located in a beautiful area. Also the description of the project seems attractive to me. I also think that I am able to cope with the activities which are assigned to the volunteers. Moreover I see that you offer the volunteers a participation of a language course. Indeed I want to learn Italian at home after I get my higher education entrance qualification but even so I would use the offer and will take part at the course.
Sincerely Yours,
xyz
