So, habe jetzt versucht das Ganze noch mal zu überarbeiten. Ich hoffe, dass es diesmal funktioniert.
Den 1. Drittel habe ich so von Duck- Duck übernommen und den Rest umgeändert.

Kate's part in her husband Joe's guilt is that she tries to mediate between him and their son Chris. She wants to end the quarrel between them, but they are too angry with each other. Kate does not want Chris to go to Cleveland, because of a problem with his father , and so she tries to persuade him to stay. Ann also tries to keep Kate from giving Larry's letter to Chris. She does not want Chris to read it.

After Chris had read the letter, Kate wants (to) prevent that Joe read it because she has fear of Joe's reaction. Therefore (That's why) she asks Joe to go to the street. Joe leaves the house after he had read the letter because he cannot sleep at home. Kate tries to bring him round that he has not only one but also two sons. But for Joe are the twenty-one fallen pilots his sons, too. Kate wants (to) prevent that Chris sents his father Joe to prison because Joe would not alive there and besides the war is over. Kate's part in her husband's guilt is that she had let Joe alone and that she cannot end the quarrel between Joe and Chris.

Kate's aim is to prevent Chris from causing his father to be sent to prison. She is convinced that he would never survive it and in her opinion the war is over anyway. So Kate's part in her husband's guilt is that she fails to mediate between father and son and lets Joe down.

Oh Nati, die Wahrheit ist, ich habe immer noch nicht so wirklich durchschaut, wer da was mit wem tut. Aber ich denke, der Leser dieser Zusammenfassung wird das Stück ja kennen. Hoffentlich habe ich nun nicht noch mehr Verwirrung in die Namen gebracht, aber das kannst Du ja leicht ausbessern.

Ich danke dir vielmals für deine Hilfe.
Ich versuche im meimen nächsten Beitrag meinen Text besser zu formulieren. Ich vergesse immer, dass hier nicht alle die Geschichte kennen und wenn ich meine Texte schreibe, dann denke ich schreib die Hausaufgabe und der Lehrer kennt ja die Geschichte.
Das ist keine gute Idee.
